President: Erik D. White (ATM)
Erik served the Traffic club previously as the VP of PR. His enthusiam for public speaking and his energetic delivery when he speaks makes him a great toastmaster to emulate. Erik has been a Toastmasters since 1999 -- dating back to his previous life in Chicago.
VP, Education: Michelle Robinson
Michelle has been a member since 2001 and previously served as VP of Public Relations. She holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Concordia College in Bronxville, New York and is an advertising sales director at Marie Claire magazine. In her spare time Michelle loves doing yoga, traveling abroad, and spending time with her neice and nephew. Michelle brings a certain vibrance and energy to the Traffic club and her goal is to continue developing her public speaking/leadership skills while helping other members of the club to do the same.
VP, Public Relations: Open
VP, Membership: Bob Goodman
Bob joined Traffic Toastmasters in 2005 and has exhibited extraordinary speaking talent especially with his evaluation and impropmtu speeches. He already has several TM trophies on his desk. When not competing in speech contests, Bob works successfully as a commercial real estate broker and has been doing so for over 20 years. It's also worth mentioning that Bob serves on the NYU Alumni Board of Directors. We're proud to have him as our VP of Membership.
Treasurer: Bob Harris
Bob Harris joined Traffic Toastmasters approximately two year ago. Professionally, fundamentally, Bob is involved with research and analysis applied to business, although that sounds too vanilla to describe what he actually does. In words of his own choosing Bob is in the understanding and communications business. His knack is for absorbing information and getting it in forms that are orderly, insightful and marketable. In a nutshell, he gets information in shape to payoff. Critical thinking is his strength. He uses words and language well, but prefers to communicate by writing more than speaking. Also, he’s soft spoken by nature and not a natural conversationalist. He came to Traffic Toastmasters to address these issues.
Seargeant at Arms: Wayne Messick
Wayne has been participating in Toastmasters since 1995 and previously served as the club's President. Wayne's style of leadership is very casual and unassuming. He is a terrific speaker and an excellent Toastmaster to emulate. As an organizational consultant he helps successful family businesses develop an atmosphere of shared goals in order to address the challenges characteristically faced when they are planning for the future of their operations - beyond the current managing generation.
Secretary: Matthew Bauer (CTM)
Matthew Bauer has been the VP of Education since 2003. During a short period of time after joining the Traffic Club, Matthew earned his CTM and has, without doubt become a very polished speaker. Matthew is an excellent role model for the rest of us. He will be announcing and delivering a structured educational agenda to get and keep the new members motivated.
Webmaster: Rebecca Haniff
Rebecca is a bold and self-determined individual who isn't afraid to make tough decisions. She joined the Traffic Club in 2004 and has been a dedicated and active member. She volunteered to put her expertise in software engineering to work for the club in assuming the role of Webmaster as well as Secretary. When not working or attending TM meetings, Rebecca enjoys practicing and taking Karate lessons.
Designations CTM, ATM, and DTM identify different levels of achievement in Toastmasters International.

Jing Shih (CTM)
Michael Y. Chen
Michael has been part of Toastmasters since 2001 and previously served the club as Treasurer and VP of Membership. He really enjoys coming to Traffic Toastmasters to improve his communication skills and to be with friends. His outgoing and energetic personality is one of the reasons he transitioned from engineering to sales. "When I first joined a club, I was a nervous wreck. I'm better now, but still not where I want to be. So, that's why I still come to the meetings to participate."
Susan Gross
Susan, who is an executive at a major financial firm, has been a member since 2000. As dedicated member she had previously served the roles of Treasurer and VP of PR. It's always wonderful to see Susan up on stage. She seems very comfortable and puts the audience at ease.
Jing Shih (CTM)
Jing has extensive background in building online applications. She is credited with the wonderful job of creating an outstanding website for the club in her spare time. Now she is a business analyst working for a major financial firm. Jing is still a kid at heart and you may also get a glimpse of her as she explores the city on her three-wheel scooter.
